He broke the moustache-free chief minister myth. It’s a fallacy that a chief minister with a moustache can’t stay in Himachal Pradesh. This is the first Chief Minister with a large moustache. The chief minister had no moustache before Sukhwinder Singh. Before becoming CM, Jairam Thakur wore a moustache, proving this belief. Before becoming Chief Minister, he shaved his moustache.

Himachal Pradesh’s Chief Ministers never had moustaches. Ram Lal Thakur, Virbhadra Singh, Shanta Kumar, and Professor Prem Kumar Dhumal did not have moustaches. On Sunday, Sukhwinder Singh became Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and Mukesh Agnihotri became Deputy Chief Minister. Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and Mallikarjun Kharge attended this occasion.
