Lucknow. The Rajasthan government’s abduction and death of a Dalit child has drawn criticism from BSP leader Mayawati. Mayawati said that Rajasthan Dalit abuse and murder is tragic. State government shameful.
He said the well-planned casteist crime of abducting and killing a Dalit girl while she slept and dropping her acid-burned body into a well in Karauli district is less to be criticised.
The BSP head stated that Congress and BJP governments cannot be expected to deny the poor, downtrodden, Dalits, tribals, and most backward their protection and respect. The administration wants strict punishment for the perpetrators.
