Greater Noida, July 17, 2023: A flat caught fire in Panchsheel Greens, a Greater Noida West neighbourhood, this morning. Residents and security responded to the F3 tower fire in flat 901, which spread.
An F6 tower resident’s quick response to the fire from their balcony alerted security. AOA member Mukesh Gupta said an AC explosion caused the incident. No one was hurt, and just the flat’s valuables were damaged.
The flat’s occupant just bought a used air conditioner, which may have caused the fire. Another fire in the F2 tower a few days ago cost lakhs of rupees.
Panchsheel Greens Society cooperates to keep residents safe. Management and local authorities responded quickly. Firefighters arrived quickly and extinguished the fires, averting more damage.
Mukesh Gupta advised residents to follow safety guidelines when using electrical appliances. The Society’s AOA will hold fire prevention and emergency drills to educate residents.
