Aligarh administrative officials raided an OYO hotel near FM Tower on Anupshahar Road in Quarsi. Former MLA Haji Jamir Ullah Khan and local people complained about improper conduct, leading the raid. A young man and girl were found in an unhygienic hotel room during the raid. The hotel was locked and its CCTV footage confiscated.
Police interrogated the hotel manager. Haji Jamir Ullah Khan and others discussed the issue with DM Indra Vikram Singh at the Collectorate on Wednesday. Khan notified the DM about the purported misconduct and presence of young men and women at the OYO Hotel Blue Heart Guest House on Aligarh-Anupshahar Road near FM Tower.
DM Indra Vikram Singh ordered ADM City Amit Kumar Bhatt, ACM II Sudhir Kumar Soni, and local police to investigate. They caught a young man and woman doing wrong in room 103. Before release, they were questioned and recorded.
ADM City said the hotel was raided for suspicious activity and code violations. The hotel missed to capture guest IDs or keep a register. The hotel is closed, and Gaurav Kumar, the manager, is being questioned. A mobile phone and other questionable objects were confiscated and investigated. On Thursday morning, a comprehensive probe will reveal more.
