Traffic Update: Pollution is rising significantly across the nation. To control which the state government fails. However, Delhi is particularly polluted. Delhi’s traffic police have created and executed a new traffic rule to reduce pollution.
BS3 and BS4 engines will also be affected by this new traffic rule. Be careful if your car has a BS3 petrol engine or B54 diesel engine. Otherwise, you may be fined up to Rs 20,000.
Check your RC engine’s BS timing.
If your diesel car’s engine is BS4 or below, the Delhi police might ticket you. If a petrol car is B53 or below, it can be challaned.
For obsolete cars, Rs 20,000 will be removed.
You’re safe with an electric car. If you have a petrol or diesel car, you must check the engine details in the RC registration certificate once.
The Delhi government has prohibited diesel and petrol vehicles older than 10 and 15 years, respectively. If you don’t follow these guidelines, you could be fined up to 20 thousand rupees.
