The Nitish camp further accused the BJP of keeping Chirag away from itself and then asking Nitish to field more candidates against JDU to obtain fewer seats.
However, insiders say BJP will again partner with Chirag Paswan for the 2024 Loksabha elections because Bihar has 5-6 percent of its own. Chirag suits caste voting wonderfully.
Because former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, who left JDU and came with NDA, may be a big leader but he has only 1-2 percent votes, so the same Upendra Kushwaha and Mukesh Sahni are not that effective in Bihar, with the help of BJP Bihar I can do something big, but Chirag is the best among all and he has votes of other castes as well and the youth of the state want a youth to become a big minister or CM of Bihar.
Chirag Paswan may attend the July 18 NDA conference in Delhi. Meeting Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai a few days ago clarified this. Chirag’s quarrel with uncle Pashupati is being resolved by BJP leaders. According to insiders, Chirag Paswan will also take the oath of the new cabinet ministers and take over the ministry from the uncle, who will be given more responsibility.
