CEO Ravi Kumar NGI said that Surajpur and Collectorate will undergo a comprehensive transformation at a cost of 90 million rupees. Kumar told a press conference that he visited Surajpur earlier this week and was disappointed to find various issues. Dissatisfied, he demanded changes.
Kumar also announced a 9-crore tender for regional development initiatives. Resolving street waterlogging and improving Collectorate conditions are part of the remodelling strategy. This programme aims to solve the longstanding water accumulation issue for residents.
Kumar remarked, “The main road often gets flooded, causing inconvenience to the public,” emphasising the need to fix it. He said the initiative would boost Collectorate’s drainage system and infrastructure.
