Traffic has been disrupted by the closure of Majnu ka Tila, a stretch of the Ring Road up to ISBT Kashmere Gate, due to recent floods. Traffic congestion is predicted on these roads, especially on Mondays.
Khan Market, Teen Murti Gol Chakkar, GGR-PDR, A-Point to W-Point, Kamla Express Building, Andrews Ganj, Khanpur T-Point and the Under Railway Bridge on Bhairon Marg are waterlogged and difficult to drive over. Tughlaq Road is especially damaged by uprooted trees.
The Delhi Traffic Police drained the Bhairon Road subway and restored traffic on Sunday evening. Drivers are relieved.
The Ring Road’s traffic flow is being restored, and the Pragati Maidan tunnel has reopened. However, ITO, Rajghat WHO Headquarters, Salimgarh Underpass, and Yamuna Bazar remained inundated until Sunday evening. Today, traffic is expected to resume from Shanti Van to ISBT.
